Family Room

When a child is receiving critical care, proximity matters.

The Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Banner Children’s at Thunderbird provides a peaceful place for families with children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to rest and recharge, just steps from their child’s bedside.

As the first Ronald McDonald House Family Room in the Valley, the amenity rich 710-square-foot space was designed to provide comfort and support to families during long days in the hospital.

Parents and caregivers can pause and take a deep breath in this calm, non-clinical environment before returning to their child rested and refreshed.

There is no cost to families for using the Family Room.
