Ways to help us help families in need

Volunteers are the heart of Ronald McDonald House® Central and Northern Arizona!

Our amazing volunteers provide comfort and support to families at our locations through sharing their time and talents. With a variety of opportunities and schedules available, we invite you to join our volunteer family!

Dinnertime Heroes & Brunch Buddies

Like to cook? One of the best ways to support our guest families is by becoming a Dinnertime Hero or Brunch Buddy, and preparing a meal at one of our three Valley House locations. After a long day of medical appointments, having a home-cooked meal alleviates stress and provides great comfort.

Individual House Volunteers

Volunteers play an important role in the day-to-day operations of Ronald McDonald House. A few of the duties our volunteers help with include answering phones, greeting families at check-in, gardening, sorting, organizing and other clerical tasks.

Individuals must be at least 16 years old to become a House Volunteer. Please contact our Volunteer Manager Jen Donnelly with any questions: jdonnelly@ronaldmcdonaldhousecnaz.org

Event Volunteers

Help support the House by volunteering at one of our signature special events!

Our 2026 FORE the House Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, April 20 and our annual Gala is scheduled for October. Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration and other event related tasks.

Seasonal Décor Volunteers

Help us create a festive and welcoming environment for families by decorating our common spaces, windows and doors for different holidays and seasons during the year!

Sweet Treat Bakers

Nothing says home like the smell of cookies baking in the oven, and a plate full of sweet treats to enjoy. Bring your baking skills and create a favorite family recipe in our fully-equipped kitchens.
